    Why Choose Us?

Our school is a place of inspirational learning at the heart of a community where everyone is valued, respected and challenged; providing opportunities for all to learn, grow and thrive together; succeeding today and in the future.

In November 2017, Ofsted judged us as 'Good' in all categories and a Section 8 review in 2023 found we had remained a 'Good' school. As the Lead Inspector put it, “this is clearly a great school, on its way to being an excellent school”.

    Testimonials

  • In our school, we follow CARES (Community, Accountability, Resilience, Empowerment, and Sisterhood) which has helped create a welcoming atmosphere for us students. This helps us thrive as a school and makes for a more positive learning environment.

  • I love how the school always makes you feel welcome, no matter where you are. The community at CHSG is amazing—most people are so friendly, and the staff are just as welcoming! I will always appreciate the wide range of opportunities we are offered.

  • What I enjoy most about being part of the CHSG community is the wide range of opportunities we’re given throughout the years – from career-focused events to leadership roles. These experiences have helped me grow both personally and academically.

  • In today’s world, values like empowerment and resilience are so important, especially for young women, and CHSG really focuses on building those. We’re always encouraged to challenge ourselves, but there’s also the support we need to grow from those challenges.

  • Being at CHSG has helped me grow, not just through my studies, but also through the diversity work I’ve been involved in, including attending summits through the Sutton Youth Board. I’ve loved contributing, being part of initiatives, and making a difference in our school community.
